![]() "Check session when app is activated" could be of your interest as well. I encourage you to play with "Locking" settings in your app. ![]() Maybe it can be send via support ticket as a feature request? But if you are planning on logging out "every day aka every 24 hours", wouldn't be manual way of logging out sufficient enough? "Log out when app is idle" is an additional security feature specifically designed with -minutes- in mind (at least that's how I understand that) - like explained here: so there's currently no way to set up the timer to hours or days. I can open new support ticket and update you when I get an answer? Perhaps it's a bug? This indeed seems strange to me. Not on Chrome, not on Opera, Vivaldi and not on other Chromium based browser with Binary component installed. But no, the "timer" as shown in the screenshot isn't visible to me neither. I am on Linux, so I am not sure if my findings are relevant to your situation at all. PS2: Sorry for my bad english (not a native speaker) and for the wall of text, I'm already really grateful for your previous answers! not very convenient since I'd need to put my password every 2 hours! PS: Since I'm there, do you know if there is any way to logout on the mobile app (android) every day for example? Right now I've set my fingerprint to unlock it and it will never ask for my password the only option I'm seeing is for logout the database when idle for a max of 120 minutes. Just out of curiosity, do you have the setting I'm talking about? Thanks for your reply, really appreciate that! In my case that box is not showing at all!ītw I'm satisfied, since I've set the app to lock itself when I turn off the computer and it will automatically lock the browser extension too. Now it display "Binary Component:True" and as I said I'm able to unlock the app and the browser at the same time by using the password only 1 time.but that setting in the screenshot is still missing (while working flawlessly in Opera.kinda strange?)Īutomatically logoff when the computer turns off: go to your LastPass Icon > Preferences > General and check the box for 'Automatically Logoff when all browsers are closed' > set the time to 0 minutes." Or maybe try to find a previous version that isn't quite as bad as the new one *smile*.īut this should just work on Chrome.has in the past, anyways. The setting I was talking about in the other post ( ) is still missing for me, but I was able to enable the shared login state between the app and the browser.Īs you said, I had to enable the Binary Component stuff, and then re-install the full browser extension with the windows installer. But there are other things going on with the Brave browser, it looks like it just updated and there are other problems. Click this ballon to reload the extension." You click the "ballon", and of course the "ballon" goes away and comes right back again, over and over. This is after having the Brave browser error: "LastPass: Password manager has crashed. When I try to run the "universal installer", my Mac tells me that the installer binary is "damaged" and should not be run.gives me the choice of trashing the installer binary or cancelling out of running it.Īny ideas on how I can get the binary component installed into LastPass extension on Chrome on the Mac? It isn't the worst thing in the world not having it, but I do want to get it installed. ![]() I have version 4.46.0 of LastPass on the mac (macOS 10.15.4) for use with the Chrome browser, and have not been able to get the binary component of LastPass installed on the latest version of Chrome (.113).
